Azithromycin tablets are prescribed for the treatment of a range of bacterial infections. • Hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine (medicines used to treat malaria)
• Efavirenz, nelfinavir (medicines used in the treatment of HIV)
• Fluconazole (used to treat fungal infection)

Precautions and Warning

 1. Do not take the medicine without a doctor’s consultation if you are pregnant or breastfeeding your newborn.

2. Do not take the tablets if you are allergic to azithromycin or similar medicines erythromycin, clarithromycin (macrolides), ketolides, or any other ingredients of this medicine.
