Itraconazole 1% Soap – Itraconazole is an antifungal medicine that is highly used to treat fungal infections including athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal sweat rash, fungal nappy rash, fingernails, toenails, etc. This soap is meant to relieve the symptoms of the infections associated with fungus. It is offered with the brand name Ifycarol at Sanify Healthcare.

Itraconazole destroys the fungal cell membrane formed by fungi in order to survive in the body. By damaging its cell wall, it stops the growth of the fungus and kills it. This is how it serves relief to the infection. Experts suggest that Itraconazole takes around one to four weeks to provide optimum results to the infection if it is used as per the scheduled dose and duration.

Before using the Itraconazole Soap, use it as it is prescribed by the doctor or dermatologist. Have a keen study of the instructions mentioned on the product label. Clean and dry the affected area before the application of the soap. Apply a sufficient amount of the soap on the affected area as well as 1 inch of the surrounding skin. Gently wash your hands before and after the usage of this medicated soap in order to prevent the infection to spread in other parts of the body.

Keep using the soap until finishing the dose even if the symptoms start getting better. It will prevent the infection from reappearing. Do not stop the usage of the medicated soap in the middle until it is advised by the doctor. Consult the doctor if the infection doesn’t go away even after four weeks of the treatment. Seek immediate medical attention if sudden accidental exposure of the itraconazole soap occurs in the eyes, mouth, or nose and splash plenty of water.
