Description

Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside Tablets are used as an effective treatment for muscle spasms. Also, it helps in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, low back, and acute pain. It is a combination medication that contains two effective drugs: Etoricoxib & Thiocolchicoside. Both these drugs have a different mechanism of action to treat the above conditions.

Mechanism of Action:-

Etoricoxib belongs to a family of drugs known as NSAIDs that functions by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes other chemical prostaglandins. Through it, lesser PGs are produced. It helps reduce mild to moderate inflammation at the injured site. Thiocolchicoside targets the centers of the brain and spinal cord.
